Memories of the wonderful time we had at the Easter Egg Hunt at the Isle of Palms Recreation center still fresh in my mind, there are several up coming events planned that you just can't miss.
On May 3 from 9am-11am There will be a Bike Safety Rodeo. During the event there will be a skills course, bike safety inspection and you can register your bicycle. Children will earn their Bicycle safety certificate from the Isle of Palms Police department. The Bike Saefty Rodeo ends with a Bicycle Parade around the recreation department. The event is free and open to all ages. A Hemlet is required to participate.
On Friday May 16 at 8pm the recreation center will have a showing of the classic family movie "The Goonies". Bring your kids and share memories of you first time watching the cult classic.
On July 26 The Annual Beach Run it starts at 8 am behind the Windjammer on Front Beach.
