On Saturday, March 22 at 10 am sharp the Isle of Palms Recreation center is having a Easter egg hunt. The event is free. Children ages 12 and under are invited to the recreation grounds to participate in an Easter Egg Hunt and visit with the Easter Bunny. Participants can enjoy Easter Candy, Snow Cones, Cotton Candy, Jump Castles and Pony Rides. For more information please contact Trish Perrine at 843-886-8294.

In my opinion, one of the best recreation centers in Charleston County is the Isle Of Palms Recreation center . The play park is the best place for a toddler or older child to play and explore. With are several slides, swings, teeter tauter and other equipment to investigate a child could spend hours at the park. There is even a huge dinosaur to climb on. There are outdoor basketball courts, tennis courts as well as soccer and softball fields. Inside the recreation center they offer classes for all ages as well as a indoor basketball court. When I take my children, I usually pack a lunch and we have a picnic at one of the many picnic tables available.
